Circulation Services

Izmir University of Economics students, academic and administrative staff, Izmir Chamber of Commerce Council members and employees, founding foundation members and employees, TOBB members and employees are natural members of IUE library and can benefit from library by showing their corporate identity cards.

Borrowing Policies

Loan Periods: Books, books on tapes; 21 days, Journals/Magazines; 7 days, Multimedia; 7 days

Number of Items: 5 Books, 3 Journals/Magazines, 2 Multimedia can be borrowed at one time

Fines: Daily penalty fee for each material is 1.00 TL

Extending Loan Period: Loan period for Books can be extended 2 times, and for Journals/Magazines and Multimedia can be extended 1 time.  

Material Reservations

The reservation can only be made for the material that has been borrowed. The returned material is kept at the counter for 3 days for the booking member.

Extending Loan Period

Extending loan period can be done by coming to the library, or by phone, e-mail or on library's website. Loan period for previously reserved materials cannot be extended. Loan period for Books can be extended 2 times, and for Journals/Magazines and Multimedia can be extended 1 time.
