Reservation System
1. Reservation Duration
- The reservation duration is 2 hours.
2. Daily Reservation Limit
- Each user may have up to 2 active reservations at the same time
- Upon the completion of each reservation, a new reservation right is granted for available desks.
- Reservations cover a 24-hour period.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Users may cancel their reservation up to 30 minutes in advance.
4. Rule Violations and Sanctions
- In case of a rule violation, a reservation ban will be applied until the end of the day (00:00) on which the violation occurs.
5. Usage Rules
- Reservations are personal and cannot be transferred to another person. If otherwise detected, a rule violation penalty will be applied.
- Users may not continue occupying the desk with personal belongings after their reservation time has ended. If they do not return to collect their belongings within 10 minutes after the reservation ends, a penalty will be applied.
- If the user is not present at the desk at the end of the reservation, any remaining belongings will be collected by library staff.
- Library order, silence, and shared space rules must be observed at all times.
- Desks and chairs must be left clean and tidy at the end of the reservation.
- Desk reservations must be made via the MyIEU application.
- The library is not responsible for any items left on the desks or for items that are damaged or lost.
6.Fair Use Policy
- The reservation system operates on the principle of equal access for all users.
- In cases of misuse, the library administration reserves the right to impose additional sanctions.
- The lower floor will be closed between 07:30 and 09:00 due to cleaning. No reservations can be made during this time. Reservations will start at 09:00.
